Decaf Irish Breakfast Tea
This decaffeinated Irish Breakfast Tea comes from the fertile farms in Zimbabwe. Most decaf teas in the world are decaffeinated once the tea has been processed. This tea is unique and special in that the decaffeination is done at the tea estate whilst the tea is in the green leaf stage. The tea is processed as normal tea after being decaffeinated, resulting in the best decaf tea available. This tea has fooled many tea tasters into thinking that this is not decaf tea. You will be amazed at the flavorful and satisfying true tea taste of this tea. This is a Pekoe Fanning grade tea in which we recommend using filter bag for brewing.
This tea is process with the unorthodox CTC (cut, tear, and curl) method. A machine is used to mince and shred the leaf into 1/2 to 2mm size. This tea resembles ground coffee in appearance. We recommend using filter bag or infuser for brewing.
