  Gyokuro is the most precious and finest Japanese green tea. Gyokuro means "jade dew" in Japanese, which describes the tender jade green leaves. Before harvesting, this tea are shaded to allow the leaves to develop a higher chlorophyll level and less tannin. When brewed this tea produces a refreshing flowery aroma and mellow sweet taste.
