This high quality dragonfly cast iron tea set is the perfect companion for enjoying tea. The dragonfly design symbolizes good fortune. This tea set is made from sturdy iron and has enamel coating on the interior to prevent rusting. Cast ironware heats evenly and retains heat well and is praised worldwide for their beauty, strength, and superb quality. Please note that this cast iron teapot should not be used directly on stovetops to heat water.

Pretty but not functional

The enameled cups get too hot to hold. If you don't pour hot water into the teapot before making tea, it will cool the tea to the undrinkable point. Even with hot water first, the tea cools faster than a standard porcelain teapot, maybe because the squat shape has a large surface area.

Blue Dragonfly Cast Iron Tea Set

This set was exactly what I hoped it would be. I sit each night after work with a pot of tea sip away the day's stress. I had a friend over to enjoy some tea with me when I first got it.
