I'm not sure they are completely air tight but with a plastic bag inside, to be safe, your tea will do just fine!

Would rate 3.5 stars really...perfect small size to keep some tea at work without taking up space. I ordered 6 and half of them had lids that very easy came off. Twice they opened on their own during transport and my tea fell out. The other half have snug fitting lids. so I'm not sure about the level of air tightness. I like them though for the size and the shipping was so fast!

Even though this item was not exactly what I expected, it still serves it's purpose and I would order again.

Ive only recently begun collecting various loose teas. I had collections of ziplock bags with p touch labels all over the place until i found these perfect little containers. I have since designed a wall mount shelf to display these and am very happy with them. easy to order, Fast delivery, quality product.

The canisters are just as described on the website and by reviewers. Practical and the lid does not fit really tight. I will order more if I need more.

These are nice little canisters. Though I have to say they were smaller than I expected. Even though the dimensions were clearly stated in the descriptions I somehow expected them to be larger. The only reason I didn't give these a 5 star rating is because the plastic lid ring which helps the lid stay on the canister is not as tight as it should be. I discovered this when I picked one of the canisters up by the lid after I had filled it with 1 ounce of loose tea. The canister fell away from the lid and I ended up with half an ounce of tea leaves all over my tea table. Good thing my tea table was clean and dry so I was able to scoop them all up and put them back into the canister. I had ordered 7 canisters and the other lids are just as loose. I would recommend these canisters to a friend with the caveat to never pick them up bu the lid.

These tins are the perfect size to hold loose leaf tea on my wall shelf. They will also make great gift containers that I can decorate to share tea with friends. Oh - and the price is just right, too.

They are pretty enough to spruce up your boxed tea collections.

Perfect size for my permanent stash cupboard. Seals could be a bit tighter but since I go through this stash pretty quickly and refill as I go they are perfect. The size is not cumbersome and allows me to display and have many of my favorite teas out at a time. Just add your own labels and you have nicely displayed teas.

These tins can hold 2 oz loose leaves. They are very classy looking.
