Good Chai

I am not a huge chai fan, but I ordered this for my wife. I find that it has a good spicey initial taste and finishes with a nice, subtle lemon flavor. We have added this chai to our regular line up. This is a good chai. It is worth noting that if you do not enjoy spicey teas, then you might not enjoy this tea as much as others. Having said that, I would recommend this chai to any fan of chai.

Sweetness in the Grass

I enjoyed a very sweet cup of Lemon-Grass Chai. The prevailing notes were the lemon grass, ginger, cinnamon, cardamon and black pepper. I could only discern the black pepper taste from sampling the dew left at bottom of cup. Perhaps not a traditional way to taste flavors but it worked for me. Anyhow, the black pepper flakes did add quite a kick to the fully bodied chai, or Hindi spice. I enjoyed drinking this throughout the day as it remained steady in flavor from when first sipped. I savored this cup of chai with sugar only, making for a sweetly spiced hot cup of tea.
