Saucer Style Black Bamboo Cast Iron Teapot

This classic teapot is made from sturdy iron and has enamel coating on the interior to prevent rusting. It also comes with a removable stainless steel tea filter. This teapot is cast in a stylish flat saucer shape and design with bamboo patterns. Cast ironware heats evenly and retains heat well and is praised worldwide for their beauty, strength, and superb quality. Please note that this teapot should not be used directly on stovetop to heat water.

Historically during the mid 19th century as infused tea drinking became more popular in Japan, tetsubin or cast iron teapot evolved from being a kitchen item to being a status symbol used to serve tea. Many nobles cherish their teapots as treasures and are kept in the family for generations.

Awesome teapot and all the accessories

Lovely teapot suitable for guys or ladies. It is understated but elegant in its own traditional way. It's for my son-in-law for Christmas who was admiring the one at P.F. Changs restaurant and this one with all the accessories is spot on impressive!

Great Quality and Functionality

I love the service, and I love the teapot. The quality and design are excellent. I would like to see a slightly deeper infusing basket. It works great for all of my teas but an Oolong that expands a lot while brewing, and the tea leaves expand out of the water. Again, it's just the one tea. Works perfectly for black, green, and other Oolong teas. I can live with that. I bought the warmer as well, and I love it. The set is prrfect for my wife and I to sip hot tea for an hour or so. Highly recommended.

Great teapot..

Saucer style black bamboo teapot, and bamboo trivet is absolutely beautiful teaset..Makes two large cups of tea..Teapot will last forever, if you take care of it.. Teapot n trivet can be passed down to the next generation and become a family heirloom..I love my bamboo teapot n trivet..

It Is extremely beautiful and well made. Love the bamboo engraving.

Since Christmas I have not made tea in it but I have set it up as a disply with the little stand you put under it that you can also buy here. Also with 2 tea cups just like the teapot also purchased here. I put it all on a black tray and love looking at it. It is a very high quality item and I love it so. I do believe I will be getting another one in a different style.
